- Corey has 13 years of experience in financial services, including 9.5 years providing investment advice to families, endowments, and pensions.
- Corey’s specialties include advising wealthy families on investment portfolio creation, developing quantitative risk mitigation models, strategic asset allocation, and fund selection.
- Before founding Paragon, Corey was a Principal at Sunpointe Investments for 2.5 years where he and his team advised 15 clients with $2.5 billion in assets. Prior to Sunpointe, Corey spent 5 years at Mercer, the world's largest outsourced asset manager, where he became a Principal with $1.8 billion in assets under advisement.
- He continues to sit on the Sunpointe Investment Committee which guides the investment strategies for Sunpointe's now $3.3 billion in client assets (2022).
- Corey holds an MBA from Central Michigan University and an MS in Finance from the University of Colorado, a CFA Institute recognized program. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business from Alma College.
- He lives in Northville with his wife Kassandra, and their Goldendoodles, Maize & Rosé. In his spare time, Corey enjoys playing hockey in the winter and golf in the summer.
